Now that alternate forms of video storeage (like YouTube) have come out, I have started placing my video creations on the Internet.

This will be filed under Alexis, first year. Now that YouTube has come about, I am able to take the movies that I make, write them out to disk a little smaller, and then upload them over to YouTube. This was the first video I ever made about my daughter Alexis. It it footage of her in the hospital for the first few weeks.
I amazed at just how small this little girl was at 2 pounds 10 ounces. Holding her on my arm, she went from my curled finger tips to my elbow - she was that tiny.
Now, she is almost three feet tall - if not that, and nearly 30 pounds. She is my girl, my love, my life.

John Stockton retired from the Utah Jazz in 2003. He was an awesome point guard who lead the NBA in all time assists and steals.
Taking footage from all different places and putting it together, I created this video as a tribute to him.
This video brings back so many wonderful memories. John Stockton, you simply are the best.
When I was 14 years old, I was given his album, Igancio. I fell in love with Vangelis's work and have collected his albums ever since. I now have 35 of his albums and I am hunting for 14 more. I used to fall asleep as a teenager listening to his albums - as they would take me away in dreams.
Vangelis released an album entitled "Oceanic". Vangelis has done so many things, if you spend a little time researching him, you will find that he has done many scores, and dozens of albums. The only other composers that come close to him in my opinion, are Tangerine Dream and Jean Michel Jarre.
I spent several hours on the Oregon Coast at my father's house taking video of the ocean and wildlife. I put together 9 videos, all entitled after each track on the Oceanic album.

It is interesting how much positive review I have picked up on my Vangelis videos on You-Tube - as well as my John Stockton video. I am approaching over a 1,000 views on those videos in just a short period of time.
I have always been able to listen to a piece of music and completely understand what kind of visual representation should be displayed for it. Unfortunately, I lack the vast amount of visual data necessary for such compilations. In the future, such tracks will be as available as short amounts of data are now. Just watch.
For now, I have another video off Vangelis's Oceanic album entitled Sirens' Whispering. Enjoy.

Sony's New DVD Architect Wednesday, Sep 5, 2007, at 03:44 AM VIDEOS -GUID-
I've used Sony's Screenblast software for a couple of years now but needed to move forward. So I picked up Sony's Movie Studio Platinum that came with DVD Architect Studio. I'm impressed, for only $20 bucks more than Screenblast cost ($99 originally), this software has a lot of bells and whistles.
The best part? Sony dumped the old DVD creation platform and built a whole new system:
This is awesome stuff. You can animate, add text, and do a thousand things more than you could ever do with the original Sony MyDVD software. Things like being able to move the buttons where you want, size them any way you want, have different button types at the same time, animate, text changes - even multiple lines of wherever you want. I think it's friggen rad.
To my friends who use Screenblast, upgrade to this - it's worth it. The cool parts are being able to do 1080i output and video formatting. Rock on.
