| Saturday, In The Park Posted: Jun 4, 2006, at 09:08 AM Stored Under Topic: FAMILY - 2006 -GUID- Posted By: Infymus | | |
Is it really freaking June?
Yesterday our little family went to Liberty Park in Salt Lake. The place is huge - 80 acres in size.
There was so much for little children to do and Alexis jumped right in. She especially liked the little house with the stove and table inside. She sat in there for quite a while.
Meanwhile, Momma and Spencer enjoyed the shade.
We didn't even get to see 90% of the park, but in time we will explore it more with the kids.

| So Many Trips To The Park, So Little Time Posted: Aug 3, 2006, at 06:22 AM Stored Under Topic: FAMILY - 2006 -GUID- Posted By: Infymus | | |
Alexis and I go to the park every other night.
There we play until the sun goes down, and when we're done, we go home and have popsicles.

| Spending Time With Our Family - The Most Important Thing We Do Posted: Sep 6, 2006, at 05:38 AM Stored Under Topic: FAMILY - 2006 -GUID- Posted By: Infymus | | |
Spencer, like his sister Lexi, loves bubbles. Here he is squealing on the back lawn while bubbles float past his head.
From this vantage I can see Mount Olympus, and on the hillside all of the trees are changing to red, orange and yellow.
I welcome the change.
This summer has been hot and dry and very busy. I have had little time for projects as we have occupied our time with things that are more important. We have gone to the park every other day and spent as much time as we could outside with our family.
We love our little family very much and once in a while we get to share a small moment together (above) in our busy schedules of life.
Here Alexis smiles briefly for the camera, a sticker on her temple - while she chases bubbles being blown by momma and pappa. Sometimes she calls us both at the same time as "Mompa!" I can't believe this sweet little angel of mine is going to be three years old this Sunday.

| Spencer, Alexis And Great Grandma Harold And Betty Tobin Posted: Nov 18, 2006, at 06:46 AM Stored Under Topic: FAMILY - 2006 -GUID- Posted By: Infymus | | |
This weekend we spent some time over at my wife's Parent's house. Great Grandpa Tobin was there and took some pictures with Spencer:
Here is a picture of Alexis with Great Grandma Betty:
It's always nice to be with family and I'm thankful that Alexis and Spencer were able to meet her Great Grandparents.
Spencer and Alexis are always over at their grandparent Workman's - since my father, David Hoenie - lives 1200 miles away - they spend most of their time with the Workmans.
Soon it will be thanksgiving and we will all sit down and spend time as a family.

Happy # 22 Jen, you're beautiful. I see both my wife and your mother in you. Reminds me why I married your sister. /smile

| What Makes Me The Happiest Posted: May 8, 2007, at 08:59 AM Stored Under Topic: FAMILY - 2006 -GUID- Posted By: Infymus | | |
Now that the rain has stopped and the temperatures are coming back up, we are starting to head back out to the parks.
Tonight we spent three hours at the park, playing on the slides, watching the kids play baseball, and in this picture, petting the neighborhood dogs.
Spencer is going forward to pet the golden lab while Lexi goes to pet the other doggie.
We slid on slides, we swang on the swings (do you swang or swing?) but altogether, we had a wonderful time.
Tonight we heard the crickets singing for the first time this summer, and we watched the sun set out. Somewhere out there is the big big ocean and soon we will go there.
